It was an honour for Regent to be invited to sponsor a prestigious conference that took place in Warsaw last week. The conference celebrated the inauguration of a new charity called 'Fundacja Kobiety Niezależnej' (Independent Women Foundation) and was attended by Gosia Stewart, the Principal of Regent Brighton.
The event organiser Kamila Rowinska, famed in Poland for her business and life coaching talks and training programmes, announced a video competition entitled 'Po sukces z Rowinska' ('Becoming successful with Rowinska'). Contestants posted video clips of no longer than six minutes to social media, describing how Kamila's books, training or online materials had changed their lives. The awards included a MacBook Pro, iPad or £100 to spend in an online shop. With over 400 inspiring entries, choosing the best 20 clips was rather challenging!
To say thank you to all the participants involved, Kamila organised a one day conference with special guest speakers and invited sponsors to award prizes for the winners. The awards ranged from online courses, tailor-made clothes and designer handbags to a week of full-time English tuition with Regent Brighton in the UK for the main winner! Our Regent Brighton Principal Gosia Stewart was delighted to personally hand the award to Anna Ciesla, the winner in the Master category. All-in-all it was an unforgettable day for everyone involved, a true catalyst for lots of new business relationships and ventures.
